Golf Course Update

4/29/2019

The Spring continues to be challenging from a weather standpoint, cool very wet conditions have been the norm.  This combined with snow melt has left the golf course saturated.  We are expecting a large rain event today (Wednesday), 30mm with more rain in the forecast on Thursday evening into Friday morning.

We have been dodging raindrops in order to complete our Dryject process followed by our solid tine aeration the past few days.  Recovery is now under way and we are hopeful for some warmer temperatures and sunshine.

The golf course will open this Friday May 3rd, to walkers only, some areas of the course are just not accessible due to saturated soils, we have been able to mow most of our short grass areas but haven’t been able to mow any rough areas to date.  Power carts will likely be restricted this entire up coming weekend and will be re-evaluating early next week.

We look forward to seeing you back out on the course this weekend and to warmer, drier weather in the coming weeks.

Respectfully Submitted,
Chad Vibert
