With the Masters behind us, our focus now turns to Opening Day, which is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 1
st (weather depending). This is a good time to remind all members of our booking policies. For weekday times, Monday – Thursday, members can reserve tee times one week in advance starting at 6:00pm.
For Friday, Weekends and Holidays, members can submit a tee time request (lottery) up to two weeks in advance. The deadline for submitting requests is Friday at 2:00pm, one week in advance. The pro shop will populate the tee sheet from the requests submitted. Once that process is complete, the tee sheets will open, and any remaining tee times can be booked. With a planned opening of May 1
st, the tee time request window will open as of this Friday, April 17
th at 6:00pm. If you have any issues with accessing the website, or app, to make bookings, please call the pro shop for assistance.
In the pro shop, I’m pleased to share a well-deserved promotion. Shawn Bodiam has been named our Lead Associate Professional. Shawn was a key part of our team in 2025, and this recognition reflects his continued hard work and commitment to the Club.
Joining Shawn this season are Myles Bradford, Sr. Associate Professional, and Stephanie Tucker, Associate Professional, both familiar faces who continue to play important roles within our operation.
I am also excited to welcome Colton Day to the team. Colton is currently at Querencia Golf Club in Cabo San Lucas and brings with him experience from Oviinbyrd, Cabot Cape Breton, and Tobiano. We look forward to having him join us at Mad River this season.
Supporting our professional staff is a strong retail team that plays a critical role in delivering the day-to-day pro shop experience. This group is led by Hannah Bloemendal, returning for her fifth season, alongside Claire Pelletier, who transitions into the pro shop from the back shop, and new team member Kylynn Acsai.
Leading our instructional programming once again is Ryan Rinneard, returning as Director of Instruction. Ryan has been working hard this off-season developing a full slate of programs, camps, and clinics for the year ahead. He is joined by Marshall Voorheis, entering his second season as a Teaching Professional, as they continue to grow and enhance our instructional offering.
A reminder that the deadline to submit your Titleist 4 for 3 orders is this Friday, April 17
th. You can place your orders directly by clicking the link below. The password to enter the Virtual Pro Shop is LOYALTY26 (case sensitive). You can also email or call the pro shop if you prefer.

We are still a few weeks away, however, the Men’s and Ladies Opening Events scheduled for Saturday, May 9
th at 9am, are now available for registration on the website. We encourage all members to sign up for these kickoff events to reconnect with your fellow members and enjoy some friendly competition.
Additionally, while further details will be shared in the coming weeks, the lottery registration for the Men’s Member Guest will open on Tuesday, May 6
th at 10:00am.
