Cart Path Remediation
This week, we are also entertaining additional quotes for the upcoming cart path remediation project. We will be working with contractors to establish scope, and they will be providing some estimates. The current plan is to proceed with resurfacing of the cart paths later this fall, with some minor carry over into 2027.
This project will be an important component of our continued efforts to improve the overall infrastructure, appearance, and playability of the golf course
Please join us for some Divots and Doughnuts on August 31 from 930 am until 1130am, not only will we be filling divots, but also topdressing some sod seams that remain from the irrigation project. We will meet in front of the clubhouse and head to the course on carts for a great couple hours in the fresh air and hopefully some sunshine. This process will help our golf course recover at the perfect time of year to plant grass seed late summer/early fall.
As we enter into the fall season, or also know as Poa seeding season, it is as important as ever to repair ball marks on our green surfaces. Any void created gives poa an opportunity to invade.
