“In Between the Vines” Chardonnay from Around the World
This season, expand your palette and explore the world of Chardonnay. In addition to the wines from Niagara, we have three others for you to enjoy. Members who attended the Spring Thaw had the opportunity to sample these tasty wines.
Alamos from Argentina. Alamos wines are characterized by outstanding fruit concentration and moderate oak ageing. Has layers of crisp green apple and pear fruit aromas and flavours, with subtle vanilla, sweet spice and gentle toasty notes.
Boschendal 1685 Vintage from South Africa: Boschendal began making wines in 1685; a testament to South Africa's rich viticultural heritage. This is a striking wine that overdelivers at this price. It's bold and impressive, with upfront nutty, citrus and peppery fruit, and remains buttery and complex through to the finish.
Maison Roche de Bellene from France: Ripe citrus, apple, and subtle toasted notes interplay on the palate and are supported by mid-weight, creamy texture. The refined mineral undertone brings a precise Burgundian elegance, enhancing the overall complexity and balance of this classically styled wine.
