If you have stopped by the pro shop recently, you likely have seen the sale that is ongoing. As an addition to the sale, Myles has been going through member bags in storage and doing an assessment of their grips. We have some great savings on getting your clubs regripped. This is a great time to get this service done, whether you are heading south over the winter, planning a winter vacation, or simply looking to be ready for spring 2026. If you do not leave your clubs in our storage, please contact Myles if you think you are ready for new grips.
Our back shop team has noticed that some members that normally store their clubs with us, have already started to take them home. This is the first reminder to let members know to take home their clubs, once they play their last round of golf of the season. We do not store the clubs over the winter months. For members with electric caddies, the battery and charging cables will also need to be taken home. The cart can stay in our back shop. There is still plenty of golf, and “bonus” days ahead, so we still hope to see as many members as possible enjoying the fall golf!
The pro shop is now in the middle of buying season for next year. This is our opportunity to reflect on and assess which brands have done well, compared to others that were not as popular. This is one of my favourite times of year since we get a sneak peak on what will be available in spring 2026. Our members have really supported the shop ever since I arrived. This has allowed us to stock more variety and provide even more options. There is a limit to what we can offer based on the size of our shop. With that in mind, we do have to be very selective. If you are a member that frequently buys from the shop, or a member that does not because we do not carry brands of interest, I would love to hear from you! If there is a brand that you think would perform well, that we currently do not carry, please share. I cannot guarantee that we will carry it in 2026, however, great to get it on our radar in the shop.
