Golf Course Update

7/27/2025

Keeping our current irrigation system up and running has been interesting, power to our existing field controllers has been the most difficult, working around new construction and grade changes, as well as new pipes in the ground everywhere, you will notice a few locations where we had to run power wires above ground temporarily in order to keep the water on.

The driving range field will not be irrigated again until this weather pattern changes, we cannot keep up with its water requirements and simply must save the water for the golf course itself.  This along with the fact that many of the heads on the range just simply do not work anymore.

Finally, when seed does go in the ground in the coming weeks, we will be watering it often, every hour on the hour for just a few minutes in order to keep the seed damp, please be aware that sprinklers will be coming on in these construction areas once seed and sod are in the ground.  Please do not walk through the construction areas at all, over the next few weeks as crews will be prepping for final grade and seed.

As always, please fix your ball marks on green surfaces, an unrepaired ball mark gives poa opportunity to invade!  See you on the golf course.

Respectfully,

Chad Vibert
