Day one with construction crews can often be unpredictable. In some instances, the entire day can be spent mobilizing the crews, equipment and orienting them to the site and work plan. On Monday our golf course team started working and by mid-morning they already had #17 green stripped of sod. On #12 there was tree removal and clean-up occurring on the right side and they were building a bridge to get the largest of the shaping equipment to the work area.
Our irrigation team are laying 6” pipe up the right side of #15 and by Tuesday they will be onto #16. This week there will be temporary disruptions each day #15 (Monday and Tuesday), #16 (Tuesday or Wednesday) and #17 (Wednesday and Thursday). Over these days, the irrigation team will lay the 4” and 6” pipe on these holes and connect back to the work we completed on #15 last week.
