Ladies 2025 Champion Kristy Henry played impressive golf. During her first round she put on a putting clinic for her opponent sinking some long putts to make 5 birdies and 12 pars! There were other highlights to the event as well. Heather Johnston had a personal best shooting an 87 her first round of her first time ever playing Red tee Stroke Play. Also, Daiva Norkus joined the ladies Championship event for the first time and her partner Joe was so helpful. He drove out to the 17th hole on the second day to deliver some much needed cold water to their pairing. The bugs were so bad and distracting on the first day that Carla Robbins came prepared the second day with her bug suit just in case! Jane Poulson joined the group as well and she and Donna Cummings were real troopers playing in the heat.
