Our Ladies Member Guest day was a super success and congratulations to our convenors Carrie Stinson and Michelle Meneley for planning such a fun day. The fiesta theme and mariachi band added some flavour and spice to the fabulous event. In their colourful attire, the ladies were more than ready to hit the course despite the chilly wind in the morning. The sun was shining by the afternoon and warmer temps prevailed. It was a great day of golf, food, decoration and a MIL GRACIAS to Carrie and Michelle.

Congratulations to our winning team of Katie Macnee, Bay Lobb, Virginia Griffin and Johanna Villeneuve who won by 2 strokes with an impressive -20.

Yesterday the Mad River team hosted the Beacon Hall ladies. It was a hot and steamy day, the warmest we have had so far this season. We played in teams using Nassau scoring. Our team was victorious with an 11-1 win, but I’d say we all won just finishing the 18 holes! The cooler bag with a lunch and snacks and cold towels saved the day. Thank you to Michelle and her team. Looking forward to next year as Beacon Hall will host.

Don’t forget to sign up for the Club Championship which will be held on July 11 and 12. The Horserace Shootout is played on Thursday, July 10
th in the late afternoon and it’s super chill and lots of fun. If the stroke play isn’t that appealing to you, please sign up for the Stableford flights. The more ladies, the merrier!
