Finishing in second place was the team of Lesley Brightling, Bonnie Macdonald and Kim Edwards.
The winning team was Fran Painter and Karen Franklin with a blind partner score provided by Karen Janes. Closest to the pin winners were Liz Quanbury and Carolyn Smith and the Longest Putt goes to Karen Franklin sinking a 9’ 9.5” putt. Karen had a stellar day with a trifecta… member of the winning team, sinking the longest putt and claiming 2 skins! What a payday.
Next Tuesday we have a new game called FT which is a revision of the ‘ONES’ game played last year. Only holes beginning with the letters F and T with have scores count for your team.

The horserace/shootout precedes the first round and takes place on July 10 @ 4:00pm. You are partnered with a fellow member signed up to play in the Club Championship. The shootout is alternate shot beginning on the 5
th hole. The highest team score on the hole is eliminated and this continues until 1 team is left. No team eliminated on hole #5! Depending on numbers signed up, there may be 2 teams eliminated on a hole. Lots of team strategy, music, beverages and spirit. Please give it a try!
A heads up that Tips and Sips is coming up soon! We will have our first one on Thursday, July 31. It starts at 4:30 with instruction from our professionals followed by sips! Be sure to sign up.
