The Men’s Member Guest lottery registration is currently open. It will close on Thursday, April 24
th at 5:00pm. Please click
HERE to register for the lottery. Just a reminder, registering in the lottery DOES NOT guarantee entry into the event. The draw will be completed, and members will be notified by Monday, April 28
th if they are confirmed in the event. Those that are not confirmed will automatically be placed on the waitlist. Please call the pro shop if you have any difficulty registering for the lottery.
The staff will begin organizing the back shop building next week in advance of the opening day. Part of this process will be confirming which members plan to store their electric caddies. If you stored your cart last year, you would still have a spot this year. We do have a short waitlist currently. Therefore, if you had a spot last year, but do not plan to use it this year, please notify the pro shop so that we can assign it to another member. We will complete the yearly billing for these storage spots in the coming weeks.
If you are in the market for a new electric caddie. Please remember that we offer preferred pricing to members. Therefore, if you find a model online, please let us know and we would be happy to provide more information and member pricing. This year, we will once again exclusively stock Motocaddy products. There will be demos available to try in the M1, M5 and M7 Remote models.
As we are waiting for our opening day, it is a perfect time to check your equipment. Most members think this just means grips. However, it is also important to check the lies and lofts of your irons. Over time, these can change which will impact their performance. Last year, we added a Mitchell Lie and Loft machine to our repair room. This is a great tool for our professional golf staff to help our members fine tune their equipment. This spring, we are happy to offer a Spring Tune Up courtesy of Myles Bradford. The Spring Tune Up includes charting all lies and lofts of your irons, adjusting any lies and lofts that are out of line with your set, grip assessment/recommendation, and inspecting shafts and ferrules for any damage. This package is offered at Golf Town for $60, we can provide this service in-house at a member price of $50. Once again, this service is ideal for members not looking to buy new clubs this year and have a set that is a few years old. Please contact Myles Bradford at
[email protected] to learn more about this service.
