Ladies Singles Match Play. Why sign up for singles match play?
- It is match play, not stroke play...less pressure!
- Full handicaps are used
- Any level of golfer is welcome to sign up
- A minimum of 2 games is guaranteed
- Prizes are awarded for those in the Consolation Flight as well as the Championship flight
- Play is from the red tee box
- The winner of the event will be invited to the Dinner of Champions in October
- It’s a great way to begin playing golf in a friendly competitive environment
- 8 participation points awarded towards the Captain’s Cup
The Singles Match Play is a season long event ending in September. Once sign up is complete the pro shop will draw up the brackets for play. We will attempt to allow 3 weeks between each round. Winner of round one will continue in the championship bracket. The not so lucky player in round one will be entered in the consolation bracket. From then on, the player must win or she is out. The last two remaining in the championship round play for the championship. A playoff will also occur on the consolation side to determine the winner of that bracket.Cost is $16.00
