Veranda Vista Pruning
We’ve removed the shrubs below the northeast side of the veranda to expose the wonderful view to the golf course, practice green and lake from that side of the veranda. The paving stones around the northern edge all need to be levelled, new plantings installed, and planters will be added around the alcove as safety barriers.
Another benefit of the shrub removal has been revealing the beautiful armour stones when looking back at the clubhouse from the golf course and practice green.
Lastly, it’s also been helpful for the golf shop staff, they can now see the first tee and practice green from the shop again. This will be beneficial for them in monitoring and managing the tee.
Weekend Walk-on Times
It is our intention to re-introduce weekend walk-on times this summer. As mentioned earlier, the tee activity level in May remained high and our plan is to gauge this activity over the next few weeks before finalizing our plans and introducing the changes in July.
