AGM Update
We had over 110 members at the club or online for the meeting. The AGM went well, and we welcome Anne Marie O’Donovan, Graeme McPhail, David Seville and David Woollcombe as new Directors and Brian Swales as a returning Director.
When you have an opportunity, please take a moment to thank Bob Cook, Brett Christen, Chris Key and Doug Painter for their service to the Club. They all so graciously gave of their time and expertise on the board over their respective terms.
At the post-AGM board meeting the following decisions were made.
David Seville – President
Anne Marie O’Donovan – Finance and Audit Chair
Lale Macintosh – Human Resources Chair
Graeme McPhail – Governance and Nominations Chair
Teri Yamada – Grounds Chair
Town Hall Update
Saturday was also our first opportunity to present the ideas various committees have been working on. The meeting was 90 minutes in duration and there were many thoughtful comments and questions from the membership.
The Town Hall presentation will be loaded onto the website this week. Additionally, there will be other opportunities throughout the summer for you to see the plans and ask questions as we continue to gather feedback from you.
We’ve also had several posters made up of the golf course and clubhouse renderings and they will be mounted on the walls in our lower-level hallway.
Communication
This year we are expanding our member communications through Instagram with an objective to keep you informed of club activities and provide interesting content. The program will begin this week and we’ll be putting out a daily post with a focus on the golf operation, coaching, f&b and golf course.
