We continue to post record sales in the golf shop and food and beverage, the golf course was maintained in its usual immaculate condition and our wait list remains well over 100 deep. The Club is on a terrific trajectory.
Interestingly, we had expected our overall rounds to taper off as life activities return to normal. However, that wasn’t the case, activity levels at the club actually increased slightly over 2022 and I expect we will finish with just over 21,000 rounds.

This year was still another uncertain year in many respects, supply chain issues continue to plaque orders for equipment and parts. Our range furnishing never arrived, though I understand we may see them in November. Chad received one piece of grounds equipment in September that he ordered in the fall of 2021.

The labour situation also remains tight, but a massive improvement over the past few years. We were fully staffed in most, but not all areas throughout the summer and fall. However, cost for labour continues to rise as competition is fierce and increases are being offered to entice staff in all areas.

The re-opening of the upper tees on #18 were extremely popular, more tree removal on the left and right side will improve the playability and view for next season. The new green tee and fairway extension have made a remarkable visual improvement from the back tees and we hope will also improve the playability for those players, which we expect will also help reduce stray shots into the parking lot.

Financially, I’m projecting we will deliver the operating budget this year, always an important objective.
