Tuesday August 29– Charity Event for “My Friend’s House”
Congratulations to our Convenors: Lisa Houston, Katie Macnee, Bonnie MacDonald, Cate Woodward.
This was an amazing event that through private donations, hole sponsorships, a Silent Auction, registration fees, Mulligan sales, Pro shots and 50/50 tickets, $20,000 was raised for this year’s charity of choice!

Update on September 7 – Mystery bus Tour
Unfortunately, due to low numbers, this year’s mystery bus tour has been postponed until next year. We had 11 members sign up, but the projected minimum number was 20. Many special events happened to fall within a short period of time, which may have contributed to the lower number.
Sandy and Carl worked hard to keep the registration costs as low as possible. The cost was $195. The coach comes to a cost of $2,000 for the day. If we had 20 participants, that would mean $100 for transportation alone. Also included in the $195 is green fees, breakfast, lunch, drinks and prizes. That actually makes the event one of great value.
Look for the event in next year’s calendar. It is an unforgettable day that is a special treat at a different, beautiful golf course.
