2023 Operating Plan - Update
At this time of year, I like to provide a status update on our Operating Plan for the year.
Maintaining golf course excellence is our first strategic pillar and despite the numerous extreme storms we’ve experienced this summer, Chad and his team continue to maintain the golf course to a remarkable standard. The new upper tees on #18 have re-introduced the spectacular views and have been widely enjoyed by the membership this summer.
The seasonal hiring situation remains a challenge, but is returning to typical conditions and we’ve been close to fully staffed throughout most of the summer.
Supply chain issues remain an issue, just last week we received a new piece of grounds equipment that was ordered in November of 2021. Usually, this piece would have arrived in April of 2022. This is just one example of many.
Activity levels at the Club remain high; pro shop and f&b sales continue to set records and round counts remain consistent with 2022 results. Inflation has had a significant impact on our operations, our overall results to budget are extremely tight, but through July, are right on target. I’ll provide further updates in September.
Membership sales are tracking on budget and the price to join for the last few transactions is $62,000.
