Although currently the green surfaces a somewhat firm, please remember to fix your ball marks on our greens. Even if you have hit the green and bounced over the back or off the side. Unrepaired ball marks give Poa a great opportunity to invade. When repairing a ball mark, always push to the centre, never pry up in the middle, the illustration below gives you the proper technique.
We have a busy short week ahead on the golf course, this includes:
- Poa removal on green surfaces
- Sodding grub damage areas throughout the property, and clubhouse patio
- Topdressing fairways
- Continuing with cart path construction to the back tees at 16
- Granular fertilizer in our rough areas
- Expansion of the 14th green walk off area
