Mother Nature has kept us on our toes this past week, from extreme winds to sweltering heat. Hats off to those of you who ventured out to test your game and your body. The Runoff was a success with the Intermediates having a great day and finishing it off with a group dinner and many laughs. Our next event is the
Tips n Sips on June 30th where the ladies have an hour of golf tips and then an hour of sipping Spanish wine accompanied by hors d’oeuvres. This is a great opportunity to socialize while learning to better your game and learn about wine from La Cucina restaurant owner and Sommelier, Otta Zapotocky.
We are working to get the tiles installed on our “Patio on the Turf”, but it’s now looking like the installers aren’t available until mid-July. So, we will regularly set-up the area for the Canada Day long weekend and our nine-and dine on July 1
st and whether you choose to be on the patio or in the clubhouse cooling down, we will be there to keep your palettes satisfied and your taste buds happy.
For the next 2 weeks, we will be featuring Lake of Bays Brewery by offering all their products in cans for $6. Lake of Bays is located in Baysville, Ontario just northeast of Bracebridge where they carry a variety of beers which include pilsners, a lagered ale, hazy pale ales and a variety of IPAs. Please ask the F & B staff for a list of what we are carrying and let us know what you think.
