We are hosting our first Championship of the season in just over a week. The Senior Club Championship will be played on Monday, June 27
th with tee times starting at 9am. This event is open to all male members 55 and over and all female members 50 and up. There is prizing for both gross and net winners for overall and flights. New for this year in the ladies’ event, we will be using stableford scoring for all flights except Championship flight. The cost to play in the event is $15 per player. Finally, an update on the two trips planned for 2023 to Ireland and Scotland. The trip to Ireland is now SOLD OUT. For those that have signed up, stay tuned in the coming days for more information regarding collecting deposits and booking flights. The ladies’ trip is to Scotland is over 50% full. We are still looking for 5 more ladies that would like to participate on this exciting trip! I have received a few questions about the itinerary and travel dates. Both trips will depart on August 16
th (dependent on flight schedules) and will return the following week. I have also been asked why the deposit for the ladies trip is more than the men’s. The reason is the men’s trip is priced out in the Euro whereas the ladies trip to Scotland is in pounds. Cobra Golf is at the club on Saturday from 10am – 3pm for their second fit day. This Sunday is Father’s Day and to help our members with any gift purchases, the pro shop will be offering 15% off all men’s apparel starting on Friday right through Sunday.
