Mad Men’s League
Gents, another week of great attendance this past Wednesday, with Arnies Army who continue to ‘battle’ there way out of the basement and having a strong week. The leaders, Purple Hill appear to have taken this week off, as they were harvesting the lavender.
To view the weekly results on the Golf Genius App, try this after signing into the app:
- Choose an event to GET STARTED!
- Click on Men’s Mad League
- select MEMBER PORTAL
- then select either Team League Standings, Player Event Standings or Tournament Results
Reminders: Please note that if you wish to enter gross or net skins, you will have to pay cash in the pro shop before your round. I have already been through the scores and observed a number of skins that would have been good, if the player had paid! Potential skins must be holed out!
Also for the closest to the pin. The shot must be on the green for it to count. Remember, every weekly winner will be entered into the year long final shootout. A substantial purse is accumulating for the exciting end of the season shootout.
Senior Club Championship (June 27th)
Gents, registration is open to those of us that have reached the tender age of 55. So please sign up or call the shop to register for the event! Challenge yourself, but have fun!
Remember: know one cares nor remembers what you shot!
Member/Guest
Gents, this year’s M/G field was full within minutes of the online registration being released. Unfortunately, a very large waiting list grew rapidly as well. It’s nice to see the appetite for the event but so many have missed out on a day that Members wished to show off their club. Carl and I are reviewing a few possible solutions that will allow us to address future member guests.
In the Loop
Congratulations to Grayling Lamont this week for a personal best 39 on the front nine, that included a net skin on 2 with an eagle. Grayling would have won the gross skin as well had he payed the additional 5 dollars. Just saying!!! :)
Congrats to Paul Sprague’s stellar week! He will have to rent a truck to pick up his money earnings. Two skins, closest to the hole on 7 and top honours in the blind draw! Good shooting Paul!
If someone in your group does something special, please send me a note for this ‘In the Loop’ section.
