Current Covid Situation
At the post-AGM board meeting, the Board made a slight modification to the opening protocols for Covid.

Masks will not be required in the Clubhouse for members, guests or staff (with the exception of food and beverage servers), but they are still strongly recommended.

Members may make their own personal choices with respect to wearing masks at the Club. With the exception of our servers, the staff will carry masks and follow the lead of our members and guests. If the member or guest is wearing a mask the staff have all been asked to wear their masks to ensure your comfort.

Covid Declaration Form – Please be sure to fill out your annual Covid declaration form ensuring you will not attend the club if unwell with covid symptoms and a number of other Covid related conditions. This declaration also confirms your commitment to follow Club Covid policies should they change this year.
The declaration form is available in the pro shop via QR code for simple completion prior to teeing off this year.

Policy Updates
The board recently approved three updates to Club policy.
  • The Extended Family Associate category – This policy was amended to pause any further enrollment in the lateral component of the policy, but to grandfather those currently enrolled. At this time, no change was made to the vertical component of this policy. As an example, children and grandchildren of equity members may continue to play as Extended Family Associates, but the option for brothers or sisters of equity members to play as Extended Family Associates will no longer be available.
  • Junior and Intermediate (19-34) Tee Access – In 2021, the Board approved tee access restrictions for these two categories.  Consistent with the associate B member access, all juniors and intermediates (19-34) were restricted until after 10 am on weekends and holidays. A review of this policy was conducted and the board felt the restrictions were reasonable and no change was made to the policy introduced in 2021.
  • The Wait List policy – In 2021, the board approved a wait list policy. This off-season we conducted a one-year review of the policy and at the suggestion of management made the following amendments;
  1. Wait List III – will now require a non-refundable deposit of $2,500 to join this list. There are no playing privileges for wait list III prospects.
  2. Wait List IV – will be comprised of prospects that are not yet prepared to join the club, in many instances these are prospects that have not yet moved into the area but plan to in the future. This list requires no deposit and they have no playing privileges. This list essentially replaces Sandy’s former prospect list.
There were no changes made to waitlist I and II. As a reminder these are the terms of these two lists;
  • Wait List I – Is comprised of 5 prospective members, they have paid a non-refundable fee of $10,000 to be on the list. They also pay full dues plus a premium fee and have full playing privileges. They have up to two years to purchase a share and join the club as equity members or forfeit their deposit and are removed from the list.
  • Wait List II – Is comprised of 10 prospective members, they have paid a non-refundable fee of $5,000 to be on the list. They are permitted to golf 5 times per season (maximum of once per month) on a user pay basis. When positions in wait list I become available they pay the additional fees and have the privileges associated with that category.
