Course Updates
Our fall tee work should wrap up next week, we have sod arriving next Tuesday and weather dependent should have it laid by the end of the week.

We also installed a number of irrigation isolation valves this week. These valves allow Chad to isolate specific areas of the course when there is an irrigation leak. This eliminates the need for the entire front or back nine to be drained of water in order to repair the leak.

As importantly, this also eliminates having to re-charge the entire front or back nine with water once the repair is completed. The process of re-charging can create incredible pressure and stress on the lines and often creates further leaks. The valves will assist to resolve this problem and could also be helpful if we decide to extend the life of our current system by a year or two.

Finally, we will move onto our new range mats next week for the remainder of the season. This will limit further damage to the range and ensure better spring turf conditions.

There is still some great golf conditions to be enjoyed over the closing weeks, I hope you’re able to get out and enjoy the beautiful fall colours.
