Golf Course Update

7/30/2022

Our team is looking forward to preparing the golf course for this weekends club championships. That will be followed by executing the golf course aeration which is in turn setting the golf course up for success this fall, winter and next year.

Aeration Plans

The golf course aeration will commence following club championships weekend, although the practice is unfavourable, it is important for the long term success of the golf course and important for us to provide the conditions that you have come to expect. Our plans are as follows, weather permitting:
Monday August 15 – Front 9 Closed – Aerification of Fairways and Greens – Back 9 Open for Play
Tuesday August 16 – Back 9 Closed – Aerification of Fairways and Greens – Front 9 Open for Play
Wednesday August 17 – Aerification of Tees - Golf Course Opens at 12:00 PM

Divot Day
Due to the aerification practices, we are having our first member divot day on Wednesday August 17th from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. We will focus our efforts on filling divots on the front nine fairways.  It would be great to see the membership on Wednesday morning to continue to help take care of their golf course.  If you plan on attending, please let Chad know prior to, at [email protected] .
Bunker Etiquette
Each morning our team prepares the bunkers on the golf course for daily play. We ask that if you find yourself in a bunker, please rake your self out by smoothing out where you entered, took your shot and where you exited. This can be done using either side of the rake and then ensuring that the rakes are placed back in the bunker.  By doing your part, it will help reduce maintenance and ensure that the playability remains acceptable for the groups behind you.

Respectfully Submitted,
