The last day of the tournament, I was 2 under going into the 7th hole, but I got an unlucky break in the sand and had my ball roll back into my own foot print. I ended up taking an 8 on the hole, but had a great come back and had 5 birdies that round to shoot 1 over. I have been working with a sports psychologist to strengthen my mental game and this was my first opportunity to implement the strategies I have learned and it really helped me to refocus and finish the round strong.
My neck gave me a bit of trouble, but for the most part, I had a great time playing again. I am going to continue my treatments to heal my neck, continue to get stronger, and I look forward to getting out and competing again.
