In case you haven’t noticed, our
“Charity Event” on Tuesday August 30 is open for sign up. Come out for a fun day of golf with your fellow lady members and support our efforts to help the Georgian Hospice Triangle.
For those completing their
match play rounds, please be mindful of pace of play. Work with your partner. If you are out of the hole pickup. Remember what it is like to play behind a very slow group. Make sure you are not that group!

Thanks to Marshall for Rule 9, “Ball played as it lies, ball at rest lifted or moved”. (Pg.52 in your handbook. Copies still available in the pro shop if you didn’t receive one.)
Nice to see the 9 hole group at 11am growing. We had 6 ladies come out to play this week.
Quote of the week from Dr. Bob Rotella, top sports psychologist and author: “Golfers must learn to love the challenge when they hit a ball into the rough, trees, or sand. The alternatives -anger, fear, whining, and cheating - do no good”.
