Ladies Member Guest was a great success and a good time had by all. Our convenor, Terri Yamada, chose an interesting theme - Birds. The apres golf Falcon show & quiz inspired many of us to become “bird” enthusiasts. Did you know you can download the Merlin Bird App for free to help you identify birds you see and hear on and off the course? Congratulations to our event winners - Joan & Linda MacDonald.
Last week our
Tuesday game, “Play with the Pro”, was postponed due to rain. New date to be determined. All was not lost- ten ladies came out to learn rule of the week. Great discussion with Stephanie around Rule 11 - “Ball in Motion Accidentally Hits a Person, Animal, or Object & Deliberate Actions to Affect Ball in Motion”. (Pg 61 in your handbook). Kudos to the eight who went out to play in the rain afterwards.
This Tuesday we played
“You against You” Each person keeps their own score and will attempt to improve hole over hole in next week’s round 2. If you can only play one week and not the other, that works too but you will only have one chance to be your best!

To swing smooth you need to be in a good frame of mind. If your life is hectic when you step onto the first tee, you need to recognize that your swing is probably going to feel rushed and hectic too. I have to remind myself to take a breath, and to slow down.” Good advice for the rest of us too!
