I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome back some of our staff and welcome the new ones. First and foremost, Charlena Muller is returning to the kitchen for her 16th year!  Charlena has been here through the many changes of the Club from the transition of ‘cafeteria style’ service to emergency situations like no water and Covid-19 to the current table side service. She is an invaluable team member to the Mad River family and I am grateful for her contribution to the Food & Beverage team. On a daily basis, she shares her knowledge of how things work at the Club and always provides information about Members so we can further enhance their experience.

Georgie Collis also returns for a 3rd year to share her passion for cooking and expand her knowledge in the culinary field. If you get a chance to speak with her, she will tell you this is her “second act” after leaving her career in Human Resources and Training where she travelled to unique parts of the world. Her love of vegan and gluten free cooking and baking will give the members something new to try this season.

Shasta Meek, Maddy Hill, Abby Bondar and George Chacko will be returning as well to assist in training the new team of servers. They also look forward to finally having a season under somewhat ‘normal conditions’. Along with these extraordinary individuals, we are excited to welcome five new members to the Food & Beverage team. Our focus is to create exceptional Member experiences that are consistent, fun and memorable. I will share more about our team and what we have planned for you in 2022 in future Mad Posts.

As we welcome you back, we will continue with some Covid-19 protocols to keep everyone safe and comfortable. We will be wearing masks indoors, sanitizing all work areas and there will be sanitizer stations at each entrance to the dining room, Cupp’s Corner and at the buffets.
