The provincial plan to achieve Step 2 may also open up the opportunity for small social gatherings in July, which may permit us to start doing dinners for small groups. Watch for Mad Post updates from Michelle.
The social committee plan to host our 30
th Anniversary celebration later in August. While there remains great uncertainty about gathering limits, the committee are optimistic that by late August larger events will be permitted.
I’ve heard many questions about the tar and chip application on our entrance road. From what I understand what we are experiencing is quite normal and the loose rock and dust will settle in time. The road will take on the characteristics of the old surface with no loose rock or dust.
Chad and his crew have started the landscaping at the back shop and tree installations at the overflow parking area. As temperatures permit Chad will get these projects completed.
Survey work on the land exchange has been scheduled and once complete we will finalize the submissions for the new properties and complete our final conditions to complete the transfer.
