Individual or Couples Lessons (1hr)
Individual $100
Couple $120
Individual lessons are a great way to develop your game.  Mad River is home to some of the most advanced technologies in the world of golf instruction including Trackman, K-Vest, and SAM PuttLab.  Whether you are looking for more distance, correcting your wayward shots (dispersion pattern), analyzing your movement patterns, or becoming a master on the putting greens, we have you covered.

On-Course Playing Lessons (2 Hours)
1 Player $150
2 Players + $200
On-course playing lessons are a great way to learn everything there is to know about Mad River.  The golf course demands certain shots at certain times and understanding the intricacies of each lie that you will find on this beautiful course can be more than helpful.  While playing lessons are a great way to learn, we do ask that they are not booked on weekends due to a high level of traffic on the golf course.

Half-Day Short Game School
Tuesday June 22nd (9am to 1pm)
$195 (Minimum of 2 participants and Maximum of 4)
  • 9am to 10am Short Shots – Sharpen your proximity to the hole from around the green
    • The game of golf is all about being within close proximity of the hole and if you miss a green, there’s a good chance that you’ll be chipping or pitching from inside 25 yards.  In the opening hour, you will learn the necessary skills to become a master of chipping and pitch shots from tight lies, as well as trouble lies.
  • 10am to 11am Bunker Mastery
    • The bunker, or the trap, does not have to be a scary place.  Once you learn the basics of set up and how YOU should set up as an individual. Whether it’s a flag that is tucked tight to the edge of the green, or a 30 yard blast shot, you will be on your way to mastering the sand shot from various distances.
  • Short Break
  • 11:30 to 1:00pm 100 Yards and In
    • Controlling your distances from inside 100 yards is paramount to lowering your scores.  During the final session of the day, you will learn techniques to get your ball close to the hole from any distance inside 100

Two Hour Putting School
Saturday June 19th (9am to 11am)

This informative session will teach you the key aspects of putting.
  • Proper Setup and Putter Fitting
  • Starting the Ball on the Proper Line
  • Proper Impact
  • How to Judge Pace/Speed

Ryan is a Level 2 instructor with SAM PuttLab and will guide you through your proper setup, your proper stoke, and help you understand why you do what you do.  He will guide you through the proper putter selection process, ensure that you are using the correct putter, and help you on your road to putting mastery.  PING will be on site this day with numerous putters to demo after the session.
