2021 Tom Sandell Educational Incentive Award Winner!

10/6/2021

Of interest, we have asked that Stephanie keep us informed of her progress over the winter months and the Club will in turn update the membership through either the website, Member Central, or through special issues of the Mad Post.

The mini tour is a huge financial undertaking for someone who is working seasonally.  To manage a professional golf career it takes a minimum of $20,000 to $25,000 U.S. dollars to pay for travel expenses, tournament fees, food, accommodations, personal care, etc.  Stephanie will use the $1000 that she is awarded toward these expenses and is thankful for the private assistance she has received to date from Members.

“There are many ways I can give back for your financial assistance; wear your company logo on apparel (hats, shirts, golf bag, golf balls, etc.), attend corporate golf tournaments, represent your company at local fundraisers, provide corporate golf clinics, etc.”

Yet another goal of Stephanie’s is to complete the Golf Management Program to enhance her knowledge of the industry and provide future opportunities within the field.  This is in addition to the Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with double minors in Marketing & Psychology that she has already holds.  Ambitious to say the least, however, Stephanie never loses sight of her ultimate goal...to play on the LPGA Tour!

Mad River wishes Stephanie all the best this coming winter and we are looking forward to seeing her back at the pro shop spring 2022.
