We are working through the legal conditions and I still expect resolution of the exchange of the properties by the end of summer.
Golf Continues to Boom
Golf Canada is reporting that July set another record of the highest numbers of scores submitted in a month across Canada, up 5% from last year. Based on feedback from Clubs across Canada, golf continues to boom with rounds up from 2020 in all provinces.
Interestingly, our rounds through July are also up 5% over 2020 results. However, the action taken on tee intervals and booking have helped immensely, access has improved and we’ve been able to re-introduce walk-ons.
We have noticed a slight decline in activity over the past couple weeks with other activities opening, but it remains busy and we are on pace to set a record for rounds played in a season.
