Please be mindful of upcoming aeration plans next week if you are planning to bring guests out to the Club.
We are planning a COVID compliant outdoor cocktail reception for Brian’s farewell in September, more details in upcoming Mad Posts.
Plans are underway for the Madheim and Ryder Cups in September and they will also have a slightly different feel to them as a result of the pandemic.
Financial Update
Our operating budgets are extremely tight and while the dues are the main revenue engine, we rely heavily on guest fees to deliver our overall results. It’s a fine line and any drop in guest fees does create challenges as we have no other sources of revenue to offset these losses.
From a financial perspective, we’ve completely modified our budgets for both the revenues and expenses this year. Our projections remain on track through July and notwithstanding the uncertainty of the guest fee situation, it continues to look as though we can effectively manage through this year.
